Hydrus Consulting is built around a core team of environmental professionals with complimentary skills and a range of experience. We are supported by a well developed network of specialists (including field technicians, instrumentation experts, chemists, modellers and EPA appointed auditors) and contractors which allows us to quickly adapt to multi-disciplinary projects of all size.
Martin Robinson is a hydrogeologist with more than twenty-five years of experience in groundwater resource and environmental projects undertaken principally in Australia, but also in the USA and in Central and Southern Africa.
Martin’s professional area of interest is environmental hydrogeology and his technical experience includes evaluating groundwater impacts from anthropogenic sources such as landfills, tailings storages, evaporation and dredge ponds, mine dewatering, seawater intrusion, dryland and irrigation-related salinisation, infrastructure developments such as tunnels, roads and railway lines and chemical storages, and also from natural events such as droughts and floods.
Martin is a Registered Professional Geoscientist (RPGeo) in Hydrogeology with the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
sUSTAINABILITY & HYDROLOGY CONSULTANT
Emma is a water resources engineer with over ten years’ experience in both consulting and government roles.
Emma’s technical expertise in hydrology and surface water hydraulics have been applied across a range of project settings. Projects have included the assessment of flood impacts to inform design, the development of stormwater management plans to address regulatory requirements for water quality discharges, as well protection of water resources through impact assessment, mitigation and environmental management planning.
Additionally, Emma brings capabilities in spatial data analysis and mapping together with expertise in sustainability management, target setting and reporting.
